Head of Mobile Engineering
Lead the SDK that lets cardholders approve a payment with biometrics, signed by keys that never leave the phone.
The role
When a payment needs the cardholder, the approval happens inside their bank's app through our SDK. The answer is signed by a hardware-bound key in the Secure Enclave or StrongBox, so a stolen password or a cloned session cannot approve anything.
You will own the SDK on both platforms, the experience banks put in front of their customers, and the team that builds it.
What you will do
- Own the native iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin) SDKs for enrolment, approvals and trusted location.
- Own device key generation, biometric and passcode-gated signing, and attestation with App Attest and Play Integrity.
- Set the standard for the approval experience: fast, calm, accessible and identical in every host app.
- Own the integration guides and sample apps that bank mobile teams follow.
- Hire and lead the mobile team as we scale.
What you bring
- Seven or more years shipping native mobile apps, including leading a mobile team.
- Depth with the Keychain and Secure Enclave, or the Android Keystore and StrongBox.
- Experience publishing an SDK or library that other teams depend on.
- A strong sense for interface detail, motion and accessibility.
Good to have
- Work on a banking, wallet or authentication app.
- React Native or Flutter bridges for SDK distribution.
Compensation
$85k–$110k base salary per year
Base salary in USD for the highest-cost locations. Pay is adjusted for where you live using local market data, and every offer is made inside the adjusted band. People in the same role at the same level are paid on the same scale.
